Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen bread dough
  • 2 cups Italian pizza sauce
  • yellow cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups vegetables
  • 1.5 cups part skim mozzarella cheese or Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Lightly grease a 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle the pan with cornmeal.
  4. Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface to a 16 x 11-inch rectangle.
  5. Transfer the dough to the prepared pan.
  6. Build up the edges slightly.
  7. Do not let the dough rise.
  8. Bake for about 12 minutes, or until brown.
  9. Spread the Italian pizza sauce over the crust.
  10. Layer with vegetables, seasonings, and cheeses.
  11. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes more, or until bubbly.
  12. Serve while hot.
