Ingredients

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 lb cream cheese
  • 8 Tbsp flour
  • 1 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 6 egg whites
  • 3/4 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix egg yolks, sugar, cream cheese, flour, sour cream, and lemon juice; beat until smooth.
  2. Beat egg whites until frothy; gradually add sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the egg whites into the cheese mixture.
  4. Pour the batter into a prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 1 hour.
  6. Let cool in the oven for 1 hour before removing.
