Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup commercial barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant minced onion
  • 1 (10 oz) can refrigerated flaky biscuits

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, stirring to crumble.
  2. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Add barbecue sauce and minced onion; stir well to combine.
  4. Set the meat mixture aside to cool slightly.
  5. Separate the biscuits and press each into the bottoms and up the sides of muffin cups.
  6. Spoon the meat mixture evenly into each biscuit-lined cup.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese on top of each filled biscuit.
  8. Bake at 400°F for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
