Ingredients

  • 1 box graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with foil; cover with whole graham crackers placed as close together as possible.
  2. In a 1-quart saucepan, stir together butter and brown sugar until melted.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the crackers evenly.
  5. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the caramel-coated crackers.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes.
  8. Break into pieces and serve.
