Instructions
- Mix first 4 ingredients with fingers.
- Slice dates into fourths.
- Add to water and sugar in pot and boil 1/2 hour.
- Let stand to cool.
- Spread 1/2 of oat mixture in baking pan (13 x 9-inch).
- Spread on dates and top with remaining oat mixture. Press down firmly.
- Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
