Ingredients

  • 5 cups sugar
  • 12 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 12 oz. Marshmallow Fluff
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 24 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, marshmallow fluff, and salt in a large saucepan.
  2. Stir over low heat until blended.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, being careful not to mistake air bubbles for boiling.
  4. Boil slowly, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and vanilla until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture into two buttered 9 x 9 inch pans.
  7. Cool completely before cutting into pieces.
