Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. raw rice
  • 1/2 cup broken cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 pepper, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup tomatoes
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine raw rice, broken cheese, chopped onion, chopped pepper, butter, tomatoes, salt, and pepper in a baking dish.
  3. Pour in scalding water and stir to combine.
  4. Bake for 1 hour, stirring 2 or 3 times during cooking.
