Delightful Swedish snowballs are buttery, nutty cookies coated in powdered sugar, perfect for festive occasions or as a sweet treat for nut lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. walnuts
  • 1 c. pecans

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into balls and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 250°F (120°C) for 1 hour.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  5. Roll the warm cookies in powdered sugar once.
  6. Once cooled, roll them again in powdered sugar.
