- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Sift together the flour and salt.
- Mix sugar, margarine and Crisco until creamy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each; alternately add dry ingredients and milk and vanilla, beating after each.
- Pour in a greased and floured tube pan and bake at 375° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until it tests done with toothpick.
