Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 tsp. vanilla or flavoring of your choice

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, sugar, chopped pecans, self-rising flour, and vanilla with your hands until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls about the size of acorns.
  3. Place the shaped cookies on a baking sheet and bake in a 325°F oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
  4. Let the cookies cool for about 5 minutes after baking.
  5. While still warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar to coat completely.
