Ingredients

  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. shortening

Instructions

  1. Cook the flour and milk until thick, stirring constantly.
  2. Set aside to cool, covered.
  3. When the flour and milk mixture is cool, put all ingredients into a mixer.
  4. Beat until the mixture reaches the consistency of whipped cream.
