Quick Herbed Zucchini
A quick and flavorful herb-infused zucchini sauté featuring fresh herbs, onions, and optional cream, perfect for a light side dish or summer meal.

- Slice the zucchini into 1/4-inch slices.
- In a heavy skillet, sauté the zucchini in heated butter for 3 minutes, turning once. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the onions until soft, but not browned.
- Combine the zucchini with the onions in the skillet.
- Add the salt, dried thyme, and dried basil leaves.
- Heat slowly over low heat.
- Add the whipping cream, if using.
- Heat but do not boil.
- Arrange on a serving platter and garnish with chopped parsley.
