  2. Combine separately the liquids, including honey, molasses, oil, and your choice of peanut butter, milk, or cream.
  3. Pour the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well to coat evenly.
  4. Spread the mixture in large pans and bake in a 300°F oven for 30 to 60 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even baking.
  5. Allow the granola to cool completely.
  6. If desired, stir in dried fruits such as raisins, chopped dates, or dried apples or apricots after cooling.

Tips & Substitutions

To prevent overcooking, keep a close eye on the granola as it bakes, stirring every 10 minutes. You can customize the dry ingredients based on your preference, using alternatives like almond flour or flaxseed meal for a different flavor. If you prefer a sweeter granola, consider adding a bit more honey or a sprinkle of brown sugar.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the granola with milk or yogurt for breakfast, or sprinkle it over oatmeal for added texture. It pairs beautifully with Baked Spiced Fruit for a nutritious dessert or snack. For a more indulgent treat, try mixing it with your favorite ice cream or using it as a topping for smoothie bowls.

Storage & Reheating

Store the cooled granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. For longer storage, refrigerate it to maintain freshness or freeze in a sealed bag for up to three months. Reheat in the oven at 250°F for 10-15 minutes to restore crunchiness.
