Juicy grilled chicken breasts marinated in soy, sherry, and peppercorns offer bold flavors perfect for summer barbecues or casual dinners with friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinned chicken breasts
  • 1/2 Tbsp. black peppercorns
  • 4 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. dry sherry
  • 4 garlic cloves

Instructions

  1. Wash chicken; set aside.
  2. Place peppercorns in a blender and process for several seconds.
  3. Add soy sauce, sherry, and garlic to the blender; blend until combined.
  4. Pour marinade over chicken and refrigerate for several hours, turning occasionally.
  5. Cook chicken pieces over hot coals on a grill for 12 to 15 minutes or in a smoker for 30 to 40 minutes.
  6. Turn chicken pieces several times during cooking.
