Grilling Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. pineapple juice
  • 3/4 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 3 inches scallion stems, chopped coarsely
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. Use to marinate chicken, beef or pork two to three hours before grilling or broiling.
  4. Makes 1 cup.
