Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground venison
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. taco sauce
  • 2 tsp. liquid smoke

Instructions

  1. Mix ground venison with soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, Tabasco sauce, taco sauce, and liquid smoke.
  2. Place the mixture in the refrigerator and marinate for 12 hours.
  3. After marinating, roll the meat into thin strips on a cookie sheet.
  4. Bake at 150°F (65°C) for 4 to 8 hours or until dry.
  5. Store the jerky in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer.
