Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Line a pie plate with your favorite pastry.
  3. Add guavas and the flour mixture into the pie crust.
  4. Sprinkle lemon juice over the filling and dot with butter.
  5. Cover with the top pastry.
  6. Cut gashes in the pastry to allow steam to escape.
  7. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes.
  8. Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
