Ingredients

  • 1 lb. thawed haddock
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Cut the haddock into two or three pieces.
  2. Bring water, salt, sliced onion, and bay leaf to a boil.
  3. Cook the haddock in the boiling water for about 5 minutes or until the fish flakes.
  4. Drain the cooked fish.
  5. Pour melted butter over the fish.
  6. Sprinkle paprika on top and broil for 2 minutes.
  7. Alternatively, serve melted butter in small cups for dipping.
