Ham Steak-Rice Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 2 ham steaks (1-inch thick)
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 3 Tbsp. undiluted frozen orange juice
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. seedless raisins
  • 2 or 3 Tbsp. brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Cover seedless raisins with boiling water and simmer 10 minutes.
  2. Drain.
  3. Combine raisins, cooked rice, frozen orange juice, pepper, nutmeg and beaten egg.
