Ham Stroganoff("Quick And Easy")

Ingredients

  • 2 c. chopped ham
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. poppy seed

Instructions

  1. Saute the ham and onion in 2 tablespoons butter until onion is cooked.
  2. Add mushrooms and soup; stir until heated through.
  3. Add sour cream; heat thoroughly without letting it boil.
  4. (If it boils, it will separate.)
  5. Cook and drain noodles.
  6. Toss immediately with remaining 2 tablespoons butter and poppy seed. Serve ham over noodles.
  7. Serves 4 to 6.
