Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 3 1/3 c. hot water
  • 2 1/4 c. Minute rice
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion, hot water, rice, soy sauce, and salt.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
  4. Let cook until all water is absorbed and rice is tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Stir occasionally during cooking.
