Ingredients

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 2/3 cups light corn syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon oil flavoring
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, corn syrup, and water in a large saucepan and stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring to a boil without stirring, until the temperature reaches 310°F or until drops of mixture form brittle threads in cold water.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to stand until all bubbles have simmered down.
  4. Stir in cinnamon oil flavoring and coloring.
  5. Pour onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. When cool enough to touch, break into pieces and coat with powdered sugar.
  6. Store in an airtight container.
