Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. sour cream

Instructions

  1. Break lettuce into a large bowl and add chopped green onions.
  2. Fry the bacon until crispy, then drain and crumble.
  3. Pour off the drippings from the skillet.
  4. In a bowl, combine the beaten egg, sugar, vinegar, and sour cream; beat well.
  5. Add the crumbled bacon to the mixture and pour it all into the skillet.
  6. Cook the mixture over low heat until it thickens, stirring constantly.
  7. Allow the mixture to cool.
  8. Pour the cooled dressing over the lettuce and green onion mixture in the bowl; toss to combine.
