Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 3/4 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 1/4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 large can beets, drained

Instructions

  1. Prepare a medium white sauce by melting margarine and adding cornstarch, salt, sugar, and vinegar.
  2. Stir the sauce until smooth and thickened.
  3. Add the drained beets to the sauce.
  4. Heat thoroughly until the beets are heated through and coated with the sauce.
