Ingredients

  • 1 fryer, quartered
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp garlic salt
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp Italian herb seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes

Instructions

  1. Place the quartered chicken in a shallow pan.
  2. Sprinkle the chicken with black pepper, garlic salt, rosemary, Italian herb seasoning, and thyme.
  3. Mix soy sauce, lemon juice, and dissolved chicken bouillon cubes in a small bowl and pour over the chicken.
  4. Bake uncovered at 325°F for 30 minutes, turning once after 15 minutes.
  5. Baste the chicken occasionally and turn skin side up during baking.
  6. Cover and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
