Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. herb leaves or sprigs
  • 6 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 bottle liquid fruit pectin
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • few drops food coloring

Instructions

  1. Combine water, vinegar, and herb leaves or sprigs in a saucepan and heat to a rolling boil.
  2. Add liquid fruit pectin and continue to heat to a full rolling boil; boil for one minute.
  3. Remove the herb leaves or sprigs from the mixture.
  4. Pour the hot mixture into sterilized jars.
  5. Seal the jars immediately.
