Herbed Peasant Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen white bread dough, thawed
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. ground sage
  • 1/4 tsp. rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 c. crumbled goat or Feta cheese
  • 1/2 c. chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. sliced green onion

Instructions

  1. Form thawed dough into a ball.
  2. Press dough into a 12-inch circle.
  3. Place on a greased pizza pan.
  4. Brush with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  5. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 10 minutes until lightly browned.
  6. In a small cup, combine 2 tablespoons olive oil, sage, rosemary and garlic powder.
  7. Brush with 1/2 sage mixture over entire crust.
  8. Top with remaining ingredients and drizzle with remaining sage mixture.
  9. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
