- Warm oil and butter together in heavy skillet over medium heat.
- Add potatoes, onion, bell pepper and jalapeno and saute 10 minutes.
- Mix in remaining ingredients.
- Simmer, covered, 10 minutes, stirring mixture up from the bottom once every 6 or 7 minutes and patting it back down.
