Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan in the oven.
  3. Beat eggs with an electric mixer until well blended.
  4. Add flour, 1/3 cup milk, and hot melted butter from the pan to the eggs. Mix well.
  5. Add remaining milk and salt to the mixture. Continue blending with the electric mixer until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes until the pancake rises and then collapses.
  8. Remove from oven, cut into squares, and serve warm with maple syrup or warmed fruit.
