Ingredients

  • 3 qt. cranberry juice
  • 4 qt. apple juice
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 6 to 8 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves

Instructions

  1. In a 30-cup coffeemaker, pour the cranberry juice and apple juice together.
  2. In coffee basket, place brown sugar, salt, cinnamon sticks and cloves. Run coffeemaker through the regular cycle (as if making coffee) or just once in a percolator according to how strong a spice taste you want.
  3. Recipe may be halved for smaller gatherings.
  4. Makes 30 cups.
