  • 3 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cake dry yeast
  • 2 1/2 lbs. flour

Instructions

  1. Heat sugar, shortening, salt, and 1 1/2 cups of water in a saucepan until melted.
  2. Add 2 cups of cold water and let the mixture cool.
