Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water and stir in sugar, oil, and flour. Beat vigorously and let rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into 2 parts and spread or roll each on a greased and floured 12-inch pizza pan.
  3. Top with pizza sauce, meat, onions, peppers, and mozzarella cheese as desired.
  4. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for about 18 minutes until golden and bubbly.
