Ingredients

  • 8 frankfurters
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • vegetable cooking spray
  • mustard
  • catsup
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (15.5 oz.) can chili with beans
  • 1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook frankfurters 5 minutes in boiling water to cover; drain. Place frankfurters in buns and arrange in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish coated with vegetable cooking spray.
  2. Top each with mustard and catsup and sprinkle evenly with onion.
  3. Spoon on chili, spreading to cover frankfurters.
  4. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 5 additional minutes.
  6. Yields 8 servings.
