Ingredients

  • 2 cans French-style green beans, drained
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic buds, minced
  • 6 slices bacon
  • dash of chili powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Fry 6 slices of bacon until crispy and remove from skillet.
  3. Saute chopped onion in bacon drippings until translucent.
  4. Combine drained green beans, stewed tomatoes, sauteed onion, minced garlic, crumbled bacon, and a dash of chili powder in a covered casserole dish.
  5. Bake for 1 hour.
  6. Crumble the cooked bacon on top before serving.
