Ingredients

  • 2 lb. navy beans
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 1/2 lb. salt pork
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Allow navy beans to soak in water overnight.
  2. Drain the soaked beans and add them to a crock-pot.
  3. Add salt, molasses, salt pork, brown sugar, pepper, and dry mustard to the crock-pot.
  4. Cook on high for 5 to 6 hours until beans are tender and flavors meld.
