  • 4 pods garlic
  • 8 bell peppers
  • 2 lb carrots
  • 0.25 c salt

  2. After everything is chopped up, put into big pan and let come to a full boil.

Tips & Substitutions

For a milder flavor, consider using fewer jalapenos or mixing in some sweeter bell peppers. If you don't have green tomatoes, try using ripe tomatoes instead, but be aware that this may alter the consistency. When chopping, ensure uniform pieces for even cooking. Remember to wear gloves when handling jalapenos to avoid skin irritation.

Serving Suggestions

This hot pepper relish is perfect as a condiment for grilled meats or as a zesty topping for burgers and sandwiches. It also pairs beautifully with The Old Red Rooster, enhancing the dish's flavor. Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover relish in airtight jars in the refrigerator for up to a month. For longer storage, process the jars in a water bath canner to ensure they are sealed correctly.
