Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 1 can thick packed pumpkin
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Beat 1 cup sugar into egg yolks, then stir in milk.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture is heated through.
  3. Beat 3 tablespoons sugar into egg whites until they form peaks.
  4. Mix whipping cream, cinnamon, pumpkin, and vanilla together.
  5. Add the pumpkin mixture to the milk mixture and combine.
  6. Cool the mixture for 3 hours.
  7. Top with the beaten egg whites.
  8. Add a dash of nutmeg on top before serving.
