  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for glass pans).
  2. Grease pans generously and dust with flour.
  3. Blend in a large bowl at low speed until moistened: cake mix, water, eggs, and oil.
  4. Beat for 3 minutes at medium speed or 450 strokes by hand.
  5. Pour batter into pan(s).
  6. Bake until done, testing with a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Do not test for doneness by touching with finger.
