Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Simmer first 3 ingredients for about 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Add salt and vanilla.
  3. Pour this mixture over Rice Krispies and nuts. Cool.
  4. Make into 1-inch balls.
  5. Roll in powdered sugar.
