Hungarian Beef Roll

Ingredients

  • 1 round steak
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup
  • 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Brown steak on both sides; salt and pepper lightly.
  2. Mix hamburger, 1/2 package mushroom soup and 1/2 package onion soup with bread crumbs.
  3. Spread on steak.
  4. Roll up and tie both ends and middle with string.
  5. Mix remaining soups and buttermilk; baste steak while baking.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until steak is tender at 375°.
