Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage, grated
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 ounces wide noodles, broken into small squares

Instructions

  1. In a large frying pan, sauté the onion in oil until golden.
  2. Add grated cabbage, water, salt, and black pepper. Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. Cook the noodles until tender, then drain.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the cabbage mixture.
  5. Mix well and fry for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until heated through and slightly browned.
