Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 c. barbecue sauce
  • dash of garlic salt
  • 1 can tomato soup (add water to thin down if you like)

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger in skillet, pour off drippings.
  2. Cook onion in drippings until golden brown.
  3. Pour off drippings.
  4. Add all ingredients to hamburger and let simmer about 30 minutes.
  5. Very good with saltine crackers if thinned down or leave thick (no water) for hot dogs.
