Tasty Broccoli Salad
Ingredients
- 1 bunch fresh broccoli, cut into small bite size florets ⓘ
- 1/2 purple onion, sliced and seperated ⓘ
- 1/2 cup golden raisin ⓘ
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
- 1/2 cup chopped celery ⓘ
- 1/4 cup imitation bacon bits, for garnish (optional) ⓘ
- DRESSING
- 1 cup mayonnaise ⓘ
- 1/4 cup sugar ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons vinegar ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon olive oil ⓘ
Instructions
- Wash broccoli, ahead of time and drain well on paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients including the broccoli and mix well.
- Combine dressing ingredients, and spoon over broccoli mixture and toss.
- Refridgerate for several hours before serving.
- Sprinkle bacon bits over salad just before serving.
