A creamy, crunchy dessert combining vanilla pudding, butter cookie crust, and ice cream, topped with Heath bars—perfect for parties and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Lorna Doone butter cookies
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 qt. butter pecan ice cream

Instructions

  1. Mix together the crushed butter cookies and melted margarine.
  2. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 12-inch cake dish to form a crust.
  3. Beat the instant vanilla pudding and milk together until thickened.
  4. Add the butter pecan ice cream to the pudding mixture and stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the ice cream and pudding mixture over the cookie crumb crust.
  6. Crush the Heath bars and spread them on top of the dessert.
  7. Place the dish in the freezer until ready to serve.
  8. Cut into squares to serve. Optionally, add Cool Whip on top before serving.
