Ingredients

  • 4 cups fruit or berries
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 stick oleo or butter

Instructions

  1. Combine fruit with 1 cup sugar and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. Melt butter in a 12 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish.
  3. Mix flour and baking powder, then add the second cup of sugar with milk and blend well.
