Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 2 lb ricotta cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 small package instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased 13 x 9-inch dish.
  3. Mix ricotta cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla on medium speed until well combined.
  4. Pour the ricotta mixture over the prepared cake batter.
  5. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until done.
  6. Mix the instant chocolate pudding with milk until thickened.
  7. Fold in Cool Whip into the pudding mixture until smooth.
  8. Spread the pudding and Cool Whip mixture over the cooled cake before serving.
