Ingredients

  • moist deluxe yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Grease and flour a tube cake pan.
  2. Prepare the cake following the directions on the cake mix.
  3. Mix the cinnamon and sugar together.
  4. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon/sugar mixture and half of the chopped walnuts over the batter.
  6. Use a knife to gently swirl the mixture without touching the bottom of the pan.
  7. Pour the remaining batter into the pan.
  8. Add the rest of the cinnamon/sugar mixture and walnuts on top.
  9. Use a knife to swirl again.
  10. Bake according to the directions on the cake mix box.
