Ingredients

  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp oregano leaves
  • dash nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • garlic to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a pot.
  2. Simmer for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. Optional: make meatballs from hamburger, onion, and garlic, then add to the sauce to simmer.
