Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 (1 1/2 oz.) package spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 package Robin Hood pizza crust mix
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Make up Robin Hood pizza crust mix according to package instructions and press into a 10-inch pie pan.
  2. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes; set aside.
  3. Brown ground beef in a large skillet; drain.
  4. Add chopped green pepper; cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in water, tomato paste, and spaghetti sauce mix.
  6. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle half of the grated Parmesan cheese over the bottom of the pizza crust.
  8. Add 1 cup of grated Mozzarella cheese on top of the cheese layer.
  9. Layer the cooked meat mixture over the cheese layer, then sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake on a cookie sheet at 400° for 15 minutes, then sprinkle the top with remaining Mozzarella cheese.
  11. Return to the oven until the cheese melts and is bubbly.
