J. R.'S Lasagna
A hearty and cheesy lasagna packed with pepperoni, ground beef, and rich tomato sauce, perfect for family dinners and casual gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 (6 oz.) pkg. pepperoni slices ⓘ
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed ⓘ
- 1 tsp. oregano ⓘ
- 2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 2 (6 oz.) can tomato paste ⓘ
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles ⓘ
- 3 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese ⓘ
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese ⓘ
- 3 eggs, well beaten ⓘ
- 2 pkg. sliced Mozzarella ⓘ
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown pepperoni slices and ground beef slowly, then drain excess fat.
- Add crushed garlic, oregano, 1 teaspoon salt, tomato sauce, and tomato paste to the skillet.
- Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
